JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CLINICAL SUPERVISOR POSITION

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of clinicians in the design and implementation of individualized treatment programs for a caseload of children diagnosed with ASD. Additionally, CSs may be required to participate in a variety of activities and projects for the betterment of the company and the behavior analytic field, to include conducting and presenting research, speaking in the community, volunteering at autism events, and working on clinical and marketing projects.

Essential Job Functions Include (but are not limited to):

 

  • ABA Program Development

The objective of this program is to provide a structured teaching and training program to adults with disabilities, in which they will have the opportunity to learn necessary skills with the goal of achieving increased independence and reducing problem behaviors. The program will utilize established assessments tools such as the “Essential For Living” (EFL) and the “Assessment of Functional Living Skills” ((AFLS) to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs, thereby providing data-driven tools to track progress.

Develop Behavior Intervention Plans Based on sound behavior analytic principles, including conducting Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) or Functional Analysis (as needed).

Educate and train caretakers in the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, therapeutic targets and strategies, and behavior management techniques to ensure proper generalization of treatment effects outside the structured therapy setting.

  • Collaboration with Funding Sources

 

Write quarterly progress reports for regional centers using sound behavioral terminology and data collection.

Attend meetings and work collaboratively with other team members to develop the most comprehensive and appropriate treatment program for each individual.

  • Management of Clinical | Instructional Teams

Run efficient and effective Team Meetings for each client

Delivery of on-going training to current and future behavior therapists, to include: Principles of ABA, DTT & NET techniques, data collection, behavior management, reductive procedures, antecedent and consequence manipulations, functional communication training, etc.

Regular observation and overlaps during sessions (at least 10% of BT hours) in each relevant setting.

 

Requirement:

 

Master's Degree required in ABA, special education, psychology, counseling, behavior analysis, human development or closely related field strongly preferred.

Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA) completed.

Pass a criminal background check

Pass the TB test

Ability to drive to client or staff locations

2 years prior experience in a similar role (Case Supervisor, Program Director, etc.)
