Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) refers to a group of complex brain development disorders and is characterized by difficulties with social interaction, verbal and nonverbal communication and emotional control. Children with ASD have different ways of learning and reacting to situations, making Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy, or ABA Therapy, critical to their development. ABA Therapy is a proven, evidence-based therapy program that breaks down everyday tasks into easy-to-follow steps.

Autism is a Spectrum Disorder, which means that it affects each child differently. Every child has a unique set of characteristics, and each child’s ability to communicate, process, socialize and manage behaviors requires an individualized, child-centered treatment plan.

Upon diagnosis, Centria Autism assembles a team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts, Behavior Technicians and Client Service Managers around each individual child based on their specific abilities and challenges. This team works together to build and apply programs that help each child successfully navigate everyday tasks, from brushing their teeth to sitting through a meal.
